Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HomeGuard Vision website (HomeGuardVision.com) and any security camera and CCTV installation services we provide in New York City and Long Island. By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

HomeGuard Vision provides security camera and CCTV system design, installation, configuration, and related services for residential and commercial properties. Specific details, pricing, and scope of work for each project are outlined in a separate estimate, quote, or invoice provided to you.

2. Estimates and Quotes

Any estimate or quote we provide is based on information available at the time, including site visits and your description of the property. If conditions change or additional work is requested, pricing may be updated by mutual agreement. Unless otherwise stated, quotes are typically valid for a limited time period.

3. Scheduling and Access

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property on the scheduled installation or service dates. If access is not available or conditions are unsafe, we may need to reschedule and additional fees may apply.

4. Equipment and Warranties

We may supply cameras, recorders, and related hardware from third-party manufacturers (for example, Hikvision). Any manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not by HomeGuard Vision. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects but will make reasonable efforts to assist you with warranty claims where possible.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms, including deposits and final payments, will be listed on your estimate or invoice. Payment is generally due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late or unpaid balances may result in additional fees and potential suspension of further service.

6. System Performance and Internet Connectivity

Remote viewing and certain features require a stable internet connection and compatible devices (phone, tablet, computer). We are not responsible for performance issues caused by internet providers, network outages, or changes to your router or network equipment after installation.

7. Use of Installed Systems

You are responsible for how you use the installed security camera system. It is your responsibility to comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding surveillance, privacy, and recording in your city or state. Consult a legal professional if you have questions about what is permitted.

8. Limitation of Liability

While security cameras can help deter or document incidents, no system can prevent all events or guarantee safety. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeGuard Vision is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or installed systems.

9. Website Use

The content on our website is provided for general information about our services. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free or available without interruption. We may update or change content at any time without notice.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party websites for additional information (for example, camera manufacturers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
